Dave Dickerson enters his first season as the Lion’s assistant baseball coach.
Dickerson, a native of Piscataway, N.J., played baseball at Timothy Christian high school before being recruited to continue his career at Eastern Nazarene.
As a player, Dickerson was versatile, pitching, playing first base and catching for the team. During his time at ENC (2005-2009) he boasted a .337 batting average and posted 100 career hits for the Lions. In 2008 and 2009, Dickerson was selected as a co-captain and provided leadership for his squad.
Off the field, Dickerson also excelled, serving as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee in 2008-2009. Dickerson graduated from ENC in 2009, earning a degree in Sports Management.
In 2010 Dickerson returned to his hometown to serve as the pitching coach for his alma mater, Timothy Christian. He currently works for an IT Solutions Firm in Waltham, Mass.
Dave currently resides in Quincy, Mass. with his wife Sarah.
