November 20, 2009.  Bridgewater, Mass.  The Eastern Nazarene College Women's Basketball team fell, 82-57, in game one of the Bridgewater State College De'Angelo Tip-Off Classic at the Tinsley Center friday night to host school Bridgewater State College.  The Lions fall to 1-2 and will face the loser of Clark University and William Paterson University tomorrow at 1:00 pm in the tournaments Consolation Game, while the Bears open their season 1-0 and face the winner of the same game tomorrow at 3:00 pm.

The Bears inside game took its' toll on the Lions as they scored 56 points inside the paint.  Eastern Nazarene lost the turnover advantage by a margin of 27-19 and though shooting 41.8 from the field, Bridgewater St. shot a hot 50% while posting 19 more shots than the Lions.

Freshman center Shardae Brown (Waterbury, CT) led the Lions scoring 14 points (6-6 FG, 2-3 FT) and pulling in 5 rebounds.  Junior guard/forward Ja'na Jenkins (Oakland, CA) led the Lions on the boards pulling down 7 rebs.

Eastern Nazarene will try to shake this one off and return tomorrow to the Tinsley Center looking for their next win.

November 21, 2009.  Bridgewater, Mass. - The Eastern Nazarene College Lions fell to the Clark University Panthers, 66-51, in the Bridgewater State De'Angelo Classic Consolation game today at the Tinsley Center in Bridgewater, Mass.  Eastern Nazarene shot a low 27% from the field while Clark converted on 40% while making the most of the their free throws, hitting 15 of 22 on the night, 70%. 

Freshman forward Alexis Malloy (Washington, DC) led the Lions with a double-double (11 pts., 15 rebs.) and teammate freshman Shardae Brown (Waterbury, CT) followed with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

The Lions drop to 1-3 on the season and play against Mitchell College on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:00 pm at home in ENC's Lahue PE Center.
