Scott currently serves as Associate Professor of Education and Elementary Education Coordinator at ENC. To her new role, Scott brings a breadth of professional experience in education and administration that will enable her to refine and reinforce the college’s initiatives with faculty development, program assessment, and the General Education curriculum.

In 1972 Scott received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Eastern Nazarene College. She earned her M.Ed. in Reading and Special Education from her Alma Mater in 1987. Nova Southeastern University awarded Scott an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in 2001.

Her leadership skills were recognized with public school posts as Assistant Principal in Lawrence MA and Principal in Litchfield NH before serving as Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Peabody, MA.

Scott’s family has a long association with Eastern Nazarene College. Her grandfather, The Reverend Floyd W. Nease, was the second President of ENC from 1923-1930. Her father, Dr. Stephen W. Scott is married to Dennis M. Scott who serves as a Nazarene Pastor in New Hampshire. They have three married children and eight grandchildren. Her devotion to God, respect for our community, and passion for the heritage and mission of ENC are valuable assets to the college. Please extend a warm welcome and your prayerful support to Dr. Scott regarding her new assignment.
