Strategic Management students rank in top 2% of colleges
Published: 2010-04-14
Cecil R. Paul Center for Business
Teams of students in Business Professor Michael Holt's Strategic Management class are participating in running a simulated digital camera company against 2425 other college teams worldwide throughout the semester. The students submit key operational decisions for a fiscal year, and then are ranked in key financial and marketing areas.
This week, a team with Nathaniel Lane, Stephanie Shobert, Hillary Greene and Trista Sams placed in the top 2% of all colleges and universities in the Return on Average Equity category! Last month, another team with Aaron Hagerman, Rajesh Gomes, William Chy and Anthony Lacina placed in the top 3% in the Overall Game-to-Date category. Professor Holt is proud of both teams' accomplishments.
