Arts Week 2011

The Nease Library will hold their annual Arts Week, April 11-17, 2011. A display entitled “Art for India” by Zachary Ray will be on display throughout the week and an ongoing Magnetic Poetry contest will be held, judged by English Professor Kate McCann.

On Tuesday, April 12th at 7pm there will be a “Spoken Word" event featuring Karen Marshall and friends. Refreshments will be served.

On Wednesday, April 13th at 7pm the library will hold their “Annual Poetry Night” featuring an open mic, magnetic poetry and guest poets including professor Kate McCann. Refreshments will be served.

Thursday, April 14 – Saturday, April 16, the Theater Arts Department will present Doctor Faustus in the Cove Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for students, and $5 for children 12/under, and can be purchased through the ENC Box Office at 617-745-3715.

Finally, on Sunday, April 17th at 4pm, the A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers will perform their 13th Annual Spring Concert at New England Conservatory’s historic Jordan Hall, with special guests Meredith Hansen, soprano, and Dr. Brady Millican, pianist. Tickets can be purchased through the ENC Box Office.
