South Shore Organization Recognizes Rising ENC Leaders
Published: 2011-08-02

The South Shore Stars, a non-profit child and youth development organization located in Weymouth, MA, has selected three members of the ENC community for their “40 Under 40 Award”. The award recognizes 40 emerging South Shore leaders under the age of 40 for their professional accomplishments, civic engagement and demonstrated leadership potential.

Eric Clark, Director of Academic Services and owner of Quincy Tutoring, a local tutoring network.

Karen Marshall, Executive Director of the Center for Responsibility and Justice at ENC and Assistant Director of Academic Services.

Delvyn Case, Conductor and Director of the ENC Choral Union and adjunct professor, Director of the Quincy Bay Orchestra and the Quincy Summer Singers.

Recipients will receive their awards at a cocktail reception and awards ceremony to be held September 16 at The Launch at Hingham Shipyard. WCVB-TV anchor and South Shore native Bianca de la Garza will emcee the awards ceremony, and Hull native and entrepreneur John Earle – a 2010 40 Under 40 Award recipient – will serve as guest speaker.

Proceeds from the reception will benefit Stars’ early education and youth development programs for children across the South Shore.

Tickets for the 40 Under 40 Awards ceremony are now available. To purchase tickets or view the complete list of 40 Under 40 Award recipients, visit www.southshorestars.org.
