We are celebrating a milestone event in ENC’s history – the Every Class A Scholarship (ECAS) initiative has exceeded $1,000,000 in total value! The initiative encourages each individual ENC class to create an endowed scholarship to fund future students' education. 2012 marks the initiative’s ten-year anniversary, after beginning in 2002 with “seed” money given by the Alumni Council to inspire classes to grow their endowment. Today, the class scholarships are worth over $1,000,000 – this includes 44 endowed (and growing) scholarships that are making awards. Thank you to all our dedicated and generous donors and volunteers who have poured hours of time and creativity as well as financial resources into this project. We especially want to thank our lead volunteers Ruth Ann Ayres and Merritt Mann for the extra effort they have dedicated to this initiative throughout the years. Join with us as we celebrate this milestone event - it is truly an achievement to be celebrated! To see a list of the class scholarships, check out the PDF.
