Comparative studies of the anatomy, physiology, ecology, and phylogenic relationships of representative invertebrates, with emphasis on ecology, pathology and economic importance to humans. Examines phyla as diverse as the heterotrophic protistans to the invertebrate chordates. Prerequisite: BI104. Co-requisite: BI221L. Offered alternate years.
