Professor Williams’ teaching and research examines intersections between the academic fields of practical theology, ethics, and cultural studies. He arrived to ENC after 10 years in youth ministry and student development, and he is a contributing member of scholarly societies, such as the American Academy of Religion, Religious Education Association, Wesleyan Theological Society, and the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry. He has written articles and book reviews for several publications and leads workshops for conferences and retreats. Professor Williams lives in the Boston area with his wife, Jennie.
