The Certificate in Human Resource Management Program is an academic program for adult students who are managers or HR practitioners wanting to increase their professional abilities and advance their career. This program is designed to provide an overview of key areas in human resource management including employment practices, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, and labor relations.

Human Resource Certificate

Designed for adult students who have achieved a high school diploma or GED certificate. The program is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Certification examinations are administered by the Human Resource Management Certification Institute (HCRI).

• HR practitioners seeking professional development to enhance or advance their career.
• Experienced managers who are new to the human resource field.
• Other mid-level managers pursuing a career change or promotion.
