We are delighted that you are interested in coming to Eastern Nazarene College! As a Transfer Student at ENC, you will experience the same high-quality education, world-class environment, and close-knit community enjoyed by all our students. Approximately fifteen percent of the undergraduate students currently enrolled at the College came here as transfers; over eighty students transferred to Eastern Nazarene College this year in search of a Christian college of the liberal arts & sciences with a reputation for academic excellence and global engagement.
The College grants admission on a rolling basis, so we highly encourage you to complete the application process as soon as possible. In order to complete your admission portfolio and be considered for admission to ENC, you must submit the following materials to the Office of Admissions:
- Application for Admission
This is the first step in the application process at Eastern Nazarene College. You must personally complete the free online application form and submit it to the Office of Admissions at ENC.
- Official College Transcripts
Transfer Student applicants to Eastern Nazarene College must be in good academic, financial, and social standing at all institutions previously attended.
You must arrange to have official signed & sealed transcripts, from all the post-secondary institutions you have previously attended, sent directly to the Office of Admissions at Eastern Nazarene College. Each transcript will be evaluated by our Registrar for transferability of credits. A Transfer Evaluation Report will then be mailed to your primary address.
- Academic/Character Recommendation
The Office of Admissions at ENC requires that at least one recommendation be submitted on your behalf from a teacher, tutor, guidance counselor, pastor, or other appropriate non-family member, who can attest to both your academic ability and character. We accept these recommendations in the form of a letter, but you can also download ENC's recommendation form.
Admission to the College is selective and based on the information you submit, but we employ an evaluation method that weighs all admission criteria equally. Notification of the admission decision is made on a case-by-case basis and as soon as possible after all the required materials have been received.
