ENC strives to be a great neighbor to the Wollaston/Quincy community. We head recycling initiatives, clean local marshes, work with the Germantown Neighborhood Center and the Quincy YMCA, tutor local children, partner with local churches and youth groups, volunteer at the Dove battered women’s center and the Quincy Crisis Center, hold several public music and lecture series, serve the community through the Nease Library, feed the homeless in Boston, host the annual Messiah concert for and with the community, offer discounted theatre programs to local schools, open Lahue Physical Education Center for Quincy athletic teams, host baseball and basketball camps for local children, hold the annual Warren Business Forum for local business owners, and much, much more. ENC is not only involved locally, but genuinely seeks to be responsible to the world God created.
Neighborhood Appreciation Day 2009
Eastern Nazarene College hosted the 2nd Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Day. This was a time to thank and show our appreciation to the neighbors of ENC. Approximately 100 neighbors stopped by the campus to enjoy cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, inflatables, and more.
