 Dr. Jenkins joined the faculty at ENC in the Fall semester of 2012 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Biology and Chemistry Department. Prior to coming to ENC, Dr. Jenkins served as a postdoctoral fellow at Villanova University and the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of Georgetown University. To date he has authored/co-authored 4 articles, which have appeared in such journals as Cancer Research and Endocrinology. Presently, his main research interests are studying the mechanisms utilized by cancer cells to evade programed cell death (apoptosis). He is also an active member of the American Society for Cell Biology and the American Association for Cancer Research.
