Video: FOL 2010

Greetings from Eastern Nazarene College!

This year we look forward to an excellent event for the youth of the Eastern Region. Our campus is busy planning for, and anticipating your arrival in March. Again we will enjoy competing against one another in athletics, Christian communication events and arts and crafts. This year we will add a special competition for our region’s Bible Quizzers. Our speaker at FOL 2010 is Dr. Corey MacPherson, a former pastor from Metro New York and currently the chaplain at Eastern Nazarene College. Music will feature some of ENC’s best who you are sure to see again this coming summer at your district camps.  Saturday morning will again feature our region time in ENC’s gym rallying around all our championship games. Most districts will participate in a service project during our MTO (Ministry To Others) times.  These are often a highlight of the weekend.

We hope you are planning for your visit to our campus too. Practicing your skills and talents, and preparing your art or craft too! We also hope you are preparing to check out what ENC has to offer you for your future in Christian education. Our Enrollment Team is available throughout the weekend to answer your questions about ENC and show you around campus. Plan your visit with your district’s Enrollment Counselor now. Email festivaloflife@enc.edu for more details.

Lastly, will you help us impact our local Crisis Center by bringing with you a canned or boxed food item? Leave room for this one item in your luggage. There will be a place at registration for you to drop off your contribution. One of our MTO groups will take these items to the Quincy Crisis Center.

If you have any questions regarding Festival of Life, or need to contact us, please email: festivaloflife@enc.edu.

May God richly bless you as you prepare to attend Festival of Life 2010! We look forward to seeing you!

Here are some highlights of other activities you don't want to miss:

  • Ice Cream Social held in The Commons (ENC’s Dining Hall) Thursday night following the concert. Come hang out with friends, eat, and enjoy some entertainment!

  • Support your district peers in their competitions. There are non-stop competitions taking place Thursday night and throughout the day on Friday. On Saturday morning we’ll unite as a Region in ENC’s gym for all the major athletic championships.

  • Ministry To Others Projects (MTOs) Sign up in advance for a service project on Friday morning or Saturday afternoon. Need more information? Email: festivaloflife@enc.edu

You’ll receive a detailed schedule when you arrive to help you in planning your time while you are here! We’ll end the weekend with a Closing Awards Ceremony featuring ENC’s worship team, a closing message, and a HUGE celebration of awards and scholarships!

Feel free to contact me through email at festivaloflife@enc.edu! I am looking forward to your arrival!
