FUSION  (The molding of two entities into one cohesive unit.) This program is designed to challenge a student’s approach to cross-cultural experiences. Students will be asked to wrestle with issues they are rarely exposed to and interact in a culture different from their own. The program is structured and designed to nurture the student’s prophetic imagination. This is one that compels individuals to critically challenge systematic structures and communicate God’s hope for restoration.

2012 FUSION Spring Break trips include the following locations:

Appalachia, WV:  $550

Appalachia is one of the most economically deprived regions of the US. ENC will partner with World Vision in Philippi, WV. World Vision's goal is to come alongside communities that are hard at work, level the economic & social opportunities in this under-resourced region, see neighbors helping neighbors, and see lives and communities being transformed. Building projects & home repair will be included.

Trinidad:  $1,200

Working with Point Fortin Church of the Nazarene in the southern portion of Trinidad, ENC will partner with the church’s ministry through outreach within public schools, sharing the love of Christ at orphanages & through children’s ministries, as well as assisting in neighborhoods to teach HIV & AIDS awareness initiatives to youth for prevention methods.
