The Center for Academic Success

The Center for Academic Success (CAS) is located on the ground floor of the Nease Library building as part of the ENC Learning Commons. It exists to provide academic support to students of all academic abilities and majors. The Center employs both professional and student staff to provide tutoring, supplemental instruction, developmental education, testing support, and special programming for students.

Learning Commons - Center for Academic Success

 

Learning Assistants and subject tutors are available to help students with their academic needs Sunday -Thursday, 2:00-8:00pm. Please make an appointement by calling 617-745-3836 or stop by the IRC Desk on the Ground Floor of Nease Library. You can communicate with a tutor via email by filling out the Request-A-Tutor form.

CAS is also available to:

  • Assist students with general academic skills
  • Edit papers
  • Help with general mathematics skills
  • Aid in test preparation and study skills
  • Offer testing accomodations, including allowing online reservations of testing spaces
