What methods are available for purchasing items at the ENC Store?

The ENC Store accepts payments of cash, credit cards (with the exception of American Express), checks (please, no starter checks), gift certificates, and personal account charges (Student Charge Account).

How do I open a Student Charge Account?

All Student Charge Accounts are debit accounts and must be prepaid. Setting up Student Charge Accounts is done through the cashier (located on first floor Gardner). Once the account is set up and a deposit made, purchases may be charged in the ENC Store against the account balance by the scanning of the student's campus ID card. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain his or her account through financial aid. (We have NO access to credit your account.) - For more info on Student Charges, please contact the campus cashier at 617-745-3701.

May I use my parent's credit card for purchases?

The parent or guardian of the student is allowed to call the store and read out his or her credit card information over the phone, only while the student is present. Any information taken will either be entered into the register directly or written down (in the case of a line already present at the register). To protect our customers, any information written down on paper will be properly destroyed in under 24 hours after it is written.

Where can I learn more about textbooks?

Buyback is not longer done by the ENC Store.  All Buyback transactions can be done using our virtual store,  http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/vbn/enc.htm If you have any questions, please call our store for more information:  617-745.3591.
